Boutiquing.com Uses Social Media to Increase Orange County Small Business

Social Media Builds Bridge
Between Buyer and Boutique

The need for boutiques and buyers to find each other is met utilizing the power of social networking!

Boutiquing.com promotes local brick and mortar boutiques using cutting edge social media techniques. In this day and age, money is short and the necessity of advertising to targeted customers paramount for the survival of small business.

Boutiquing.com has built a network of boutique lovers and business owners and is using Twitter and Facebook to bring them together for a one day Boutiquing Blowout Sale, Saturday September 19th in The Village at Irvine Spectrum Center.

Boutiquing.com creators April Madigan and Erin Hall have seen first hand the effect the economy has had on the boutique industry. The site was started when Hall, a longtime boutique store manager was laid off unexpectedly last January. "I was on the inside, and I saw first hand how difficult it was just to keep the doors open, forget spending any money on advertising." says Hall.

Seeing the necessity of supporting small local business in an unpredictable economy, Boutiquing.com is educating shoppers in the value and ease of "Boutiquing Local" and teaching boutique owners how to use social networking tools as a means to keep their businesses alive and in front of their customers. Hall states, "I realized now more than ever, these struggling small businesses need to band together and pool their resources if they wanted to stand a chance against larger corporations."

Please consider attending the Boutiquing Blowout Sale for your enjoyment AND as a great story for it's impact on local small business.
